A home is a place where you can rest when you’re ready to sleep It’s a place where you can eat edible food when you’re hungry and drink where you’re as thirsty as a gator It’s a place where you can put all your small or big belongings It’s a place where you can throw big parties or just have a few friends over It’s a place that you can be a crazy fox or a funny Fred or just a normal nick It's a place where you can smell that sweet sweet smell of your favorite meal cooking in the kitchen It’s a place where you can eat homemade bread or your mom’s freshly baked cookies. It’s a place that can sound like a lion's den or a peaceful meadow full of sheep A home is a thing that you can decorate whichever way you want so that it feels like home It’s a thing that you can stay at for as long as you want It’s a thing that comes in all shapes and sizes but is still loved by all It’s a thing that everyone needs but not everyone has and that is why I made this poem.
