What Home Means to Me

If you look in the dictionary it says, “the place where one lives permanently, especially as a member of a family or household” . I don’t think this is right because home means so much more, home means many things to me. Home means that you’re safe and comfortable. Home means many more things to me too. Home means that you can feel like yourself and you do not have to pretend to be someone else. It is a place where you can laugh and have fun. Something that I love about home is playing video games with my friends because video games are one of the things that lets me escape from the real world. I want to escape from the real-world because of many things some include school because I get assigned projects pretty much every week. Something that I also love about home is that I can be myself because there is no one telling me what to do and not what to do except my parents telling me to do my chores. You know the saying “Home sweet home” right? Well, it means more than it sounds. It means that you can do whatever you want, well not everything. A time when I said “Home sweet home” was when I got back from my cottage.
