What Home Means to Me

I wake up one morning feeling so alone, but then I remember that I am home. Home is a place to feel safe in the storm, The place where I've lived since the day I was born. A place where I’ve cherished memories, And fled to feel loved, And a place where I have many beloved. Sometimes I feel like giving up, When the fight seems hopeless and there’s no luck. My family encourages me to keep on going, Dear loved one, the fight’s not over. Home is about being with each other, Taking hikes through forests, Strolling through nature's wonders. Spending time together, That is the key, To a happy family. And in these times that we’re facing, I’m glad I have a home to be safe in.
