What Home Means to Me
What home means to me...
What home means to me is a whole lot more,
than four white walls and an oak door.
Home is a place where you curl up tight,
and sleep soundly through the dark, cold, night.
Home is love and care,
especially when mom gives a hug like a big old mama bear.
A home is a place where you grow and thrive,
a home is a place where you feel alive.
A home is a place where you watch your kids grow,
it's a place where everyone should be able to go.
As a child,
a home is a place where you grow up, have fun and be wild.
In your home, there are windows of glass,
as you stare out of them you think, I want this place to last.
When you walk through the door and you smell that smell,
you become overwhelmed and want to yell,
Because you're finally home.
