The Importance of a Home

What does home mean to me? To me, home is where I get to spend valuable time with my family. A place where I feel loved. A place where I feel calm. A place where I don’t feel afraid. And if your house is too small, it might just be, but what really matters is the cherished memories you had there, because one day you’ll miss it all. My home is also a place where I can eat yummy food my family makes every day. Some people don’t have somewhere nice to stay, living in the hot and cold, it’s sad to say. They don’t have someone to rely on when it’s cold and they are all alone. When seeing their smile on their face makes me remember what it feels like to have a home. What’s so special though, about every home is that even though there all different. There is one thing that they all have in common, and that is that even if you leave your home one day it’ll always have a piece of you for as long as you remember it.
