My Home is Safe for Me

My home is where I am loved by my mother, father brother and my pets. My home is also where my dad makes yummy meals. My home is a place where I can play with my toys, video games, my pets and my brother. I also feel safe and protected inside my home. In my home I can learn better as I get lots of help from my caring family. My home is where I can get a good nights sleep in a warm bed and I feel safe. My home is a cozy, warm place with a fireplace. I love watching the colour of the flames as they warm me. When I’m in my home with my family I think of how lucky I am. When I am out in the world, I see people that I wish I had the same kind of softness and comfort that I have. I know that some people out in the world don’t have a lot like we do. They don’t have warm holmes to be safe in. That’s why we have charities and fundraisers that raise money to help shelters and homes to be built. The Meaning of Home will give homes to families so that they can have somewhere to get healthy food, have a warm bed to sleep in and a place to call Home.
