What Home Means to Me

The word “home”, has a different meaning for everyone. To me, it means somewhere I feel safe and know that I am loved. It’s a place where I know that I will always be a part of and a place where I have shelter and a roof over my head. It’s a place where families gather and a place where memories are made. I know that there will always be food on the table and a bed for me to come home to. A home is where I can express myself without feeling judged. I know that I always have someone to go to when I'm feeling sad or hurt. This is what “home” means to me.
