What Home Means to Me
Home is a place where it’s safe to stay
Home is a place where I won’t run away
Home is where I won’t be cold
Home is where I can stay ‘til I’m old
Home is a place where I can be myself
Where I don’t have to pretend I’m someone else
Home is where I'm comforted and loved
Home is a place where I don’t get shoved
Home is a place where I’m with my family
I love them so much
We’re never too many
Home is where I feel cuddles
Through sadness and hurt I still get snuggles
Home is a place where I let out the tears
Home is a place where I spread lots of cheer
Home is where I smell nutella and toast
Home is where I don't have to boast
And home is where I know
That there's no better place to be home
So for those who don't have a place to go
There’s something I would like you to know
I’m working my hardest
I’m working my best
Writing on a page
So you have a place to rest
