Where Someone Can Call Home

The first time I opened the door I knew my house would be so much more I knew it would be a place where I could be free A place that I could call...well, you’ll see A place that could keep my family warm A place that could shelter us from a storm A place where my life could be fun A place where I would welcome the sun Some people though, have no place to stay No place to call home and be safe for the day No place to have so much fun No place to go and welcome the sun No place to go and be free No place to go and drink some warm tea No place to go and find smiling faces These are the people that can’t have any of those places Hopefully, one day this will all change One day all people will arrange That one place that they could own That one place that someone could call home!
