The Endless Possibilities at Home

What does home mean to me? To start off I will be explaining why my home is important to me. My home is important to me because it’s where everyone gathers together and talks about their days and where we laugh at each other in a loving way. Home is important to me because at dinner we say our numbers. Let me explain to you what that means. We go around the table and if someone is a seven or lower we have to explain why we are that number. If we are higher than a seven we don’t need to explain why. We made this up because I like to hold in my emotions and feelings and I don’t like talking about them, so this helps my parents know how I feel and how I can explain my emotions and feelings. Next, now I will be talking about what I see, smell, hear, taste, and feel. I see everyone gathered in the living room with me, my mom and my sister on the couch and my dad on the chair. I smell my dad's delicious home cooked meals. I hear everyone laughing and having a good time. I taste my dad's delicious meals and my mom's wonderful desserts. Last of all, I feel warm and fuzzy inside because I’m with everyone who cares and loves me. Furthermore, this next topic will be about all the memories I have made in my home. Some memories that me and my family have made are me and my sisters' first steps, our first dogs, where we learned our first words, I learned how to cook and bake, I learned how to clean and do laundry and so much more! In my family we always say Love Makes Our House a Home. Finally, to end off my paragraph I will be talking about some things that you don’t have to worry about when you’re at home. When you're home you don't have to question am I safe here because at your home you will always be safe. At home you don't have to worry about being judged or being picked on or bullied. When your home you are surrounded by your loved ones you will never be alone and you will always feel safe and comforted. At my house I feel really safe. I feel really safe because around me I have my dogs, my mom, my dad, and my sister. If you ever don't feel safe in your home you need to tell someone as soon as possible. Always remember that home is where the heart lays. That was my essay on why I feel safe at home. What does home mean to you?
