The Morning Schedule
I wake up in the morning to my “as loud as a siren” alarm going off. Then, as fast as lightning, I eat my cereal with the almost expired milk. My cat jumps on the table to lick up the milk spilled by herself. No one is up yet, it is just me and my cat. This is what home means to me. - 8:15 AM
I hear all the birds chattering and my dog howling in the yard. Mum has gone to work and my older sister is on a school call. I walk into the bathroom, and do not have time to brush my hair. It is 8:40, school is beginning. This is what home means to me. - 8:40 AM
I feel the sand papery feeling of my cat's rough tongue. She may just be licking me, but I take it as kisses. The vibration of my teacher's voice is moving through my chrome book very fast. Most of the students have their camera on, even just seeing their still asleep faces makes me happy. And this is what home means to me. - 9:20 AM
