Home not House

I am fortunate enough to have a good home. Where I don’t have to worry If there’s gonna be food on my plate by dinner. A lot of people are not lucky enough to have a home. Some people do have to worry If there’s gonna be food on their plate by dinner. Some people have a house but they don’t have a home. But what does that mean? You could buy a house but you can’t buy a home. You could get anyone to build your house But only you could build your home Some people have a beautiful house but because some family members have problems they have to leave their home. Some people don’t have a house They’re forced out of their homes Some people have a house but don’t have a home They’re forced out of their homes Luckily I am not those people I have a beautiful home and a beautiful house I wrote this poem to raise awareness It was really easy to do You could do it too Just say what's on your mind
