What Home Means to Me

To me, home can’t be replaced. My parents work very hard for me and my sister. To feed me and to give me a place to stay. And that means a lot to me. I’m lucky to have these privileges as some people don’t have a place to feel safe. Once I step into my home, I feel safer, better and loved. I’m grateful to not have to sleep on the streets. For me, a house is just a building where you live in. But a home is where your friends and family make you feel special. My home is like a human. It doesn’t matter on the outside but it does on the inside. And inside a home is a family. My family. The heart of my home. My home means a lot to me. I couldn’t imagine my life without one. And by writing a few words on a piece of paper, I can help. I can help others feel safe and loved too.
