What Home Means to ME!

A home is a feeling, it's waking up or coming home to your family! At the end of the day it is nice to be able to go into your home and jump into a nice, soft bed to sleep in, it is very comforting. It's a place you know you're going to be loved by those in your home, it’s the sound of your dogs bark and the TV in the background. A home is also a safe place that makes you feel protected because you are with your family and together in a warm house, safe at night and in the dark. I like being able to go into my kitchen and make food or grab something by just looking in the pantry or the fridge. A home only feels like a home when you have your parents there and your dog. If you didn’t have your family and your pets it wouldn’t really feel like a home it would feel like an empty house and an empty house is not a home. It's having nice furniture to lay on when you are tired or just to relax or sleep. To have toys to play with and share with your parents or friends . To have running water that is clean. Nice and healthy food to eat. To celebrate holidays as a family all together with each other, like Christmas and Birthdays. My home is in a safe neighborhood and I like that all my neighbors are kind and we can play close to home. When having your family all in a home together you never feel lonely. Whenever I get back from school or sports my dog always come to the door and greets me and she always sits by my desk when I work and cuddles up and lays on my legs. At the end of the day I like to jump in the bed with my dog.
