Meaning of Home

Home is anywhere life takes you, even if you don’t think so. Home is a place where you belong whether you know it or not. My comfort is knowing where you belong and in being who you are. Comfort is like a warm blanket bringing you in to snuggle. Comfort can come from nowhere but it always comes with hope and happiness. Home is comfort. Home is full of family. Whether here or far away, my family makes places into home. Going to my aunt in Liverpool is always fun. Her three dogs are lightning and are always happy. Even though I live in Peterborough, that place still feels like home. Respect is a river. It never stops flowing through my home. Whether it's a smile after I get good grades or not being too mad when something bad happens. Respect is an ever present kindness. No home would ever be strong without respect. The truth is, home is a feeling, a feeling made of hope, belonging, peace, love, respect, family, comfort and more. So just remember, it's not the look or size of a building that counts because anywhere could be someone’s home.
