What Home Means to Me

When I think of home I think of a good shelter and protection, food and money and my house and family. If you have a home, you get privacy and warm water and clean water and fresh food. If I did not have a home I would get really wet from the rain. I would also get cold from the snow. I feel bad when I see homeless people on the streets without a home. If I was homeless, I might not get a good job. Because maybe I had to drop out of school and did not get a good education. Homes are important to have to me. I think everyone in the world should have at least a decent shelter. At least 150 million people in the world are homeless and that’s not good. Homeless people don’t get enough attention to people who have homes. Home is a place where you should feel loved safe and happy. Home is a place to have fun. To me, I think everyone should feel that way. Alot of people who have homes feel happy. But a lot of people who have homes feel sad. I want to fix that so everyone without a home feels happy loved and safe. I hope that by the time I'm older at least 20 million more people have homes.
