Relaxing at Home

To me, home is a relaxing place where my family is. I feel comfortable and have a nice time. I love spending time with my family. I have a lizard named Lia. My whole family loves her, and I play with her every day. When I come home, I see the door leading to the bathroom. After soccer, I usually smell cooking and feel very hungry. I usually hear my brother getting upset because he lost a game, and I feel sad for him and try to help him with the game. I taste my mom’s cooking because I love eating it, and I feel great when her food is on the table. When I come home late or when I’m sad, I go to my room and play with my lizard. When I touch her back, it is spiky. I feel safe in my house. I feel relaxed when I’m alone in my room or early in the morning because my family is sleeping. I feel safe at home because we haven’t been robbed, and my neighborhood has never been robbed. My dad is a professional Taekwondo trainer with a black belt, and I am one belt away from a black belt! It’s impossible to have a house without a home. If you have somewhere to live, you have a home. Some people struggle in Canada because they do not have enough money. If they try to save for a house, they might not survive because they need food and water. Home is to protect us from danger and to have somewhere to sleep, eat, and spend time with family.
