What is Home?

To me, home is a place where my family is. For me, home is also a fun and comfortable place. It makes it easy to be myself. Sight: When I come home, I see my mom working on her computer with my dog, Teddy, by her side. Sound: The first thing I hear is my mom talking with her business partner on the phone. Smell: I always love the smell of my mom’s dumplings. Touch: The first thing I do when I come home is pet my dog, Teddy. My favorite things about my home are family, love, soccer, and my dog. My home is a safe place where I can relax, stay calm, be happy, comfortable, and safe. Home creates these feelings because of my family, because almost nobody else is around except my family and guests, and nobody annoys me. The difference between a house and a home is that a house is just a place where you live, while a home includes family and much more. You could have a house but not a home because a home is about family and other important things. Some people are homeless because of gambling, being scammed, being robbed, or other terrible things. I think they could fix it by looking for a job and getting help. In the end, home means a lot to me. It includes family, feeling safe, having someone to talk to, and much more.
