WHAT A HOME MEANS TO ME

A home can be a place to be free. A house can be a place that isn't as free as a home can be. A home can be a cozy place with a fireplace and a tree. A house can be a cozy place, but not as cozy as a fireplace and a tree. A home can have a lounge and a couch, but a house can be a big place that might not even be yours. But one thing is for sure, you can always go home to a home. Some people might call a house, but I call my home, my free place, my warm shelter, a place with food and water, a bed and a bathroom, waking up to a cozy place. I call that home. Whether it is mine or someone else’s, a home can be a place with freedom, but a house can be a place with darkness. A house can be a place with furniture and things, but things are things, and furniture is furniture. So, as long as you are happy, in a home or a house, that's all you need. Because that is what a home means to me.
