My Meaning Of Home

The meaning of home to me is everything I care about. Maybe that’s being myself or being with people I love, like my family. My house has things like video games and television, but my home has things like love, care, and my family. What I call home could be the complete opposite of what someone else calls home. Also, homes are everywhere and a home is a place where you feel safe. It could be a beach or a forest to different people. If you feel safe at a beach, maybe you feel wrapped in soft hot sand with the cooling waves keeping you from over and underheating. Or if you feel safe in a forest, you may feel the soft moss covering you like a cozy blanket watching stars at midnight. Someone could say “Your meaning of home is wrong!” but I think that anyone can choose what home means to them. That is what home means to me.
