Home is not just a place

Home is not just the place it's where I feel safe. Home is a place where I can be myself, My family photos are on the shelf. It smells like my mom's delicious stew or her lemon chicken soup when I have the flu. When I walk through the door my dad will say ‘‘hi Zobo, how was your day?’’ My dog Pebbles will run to me ready to play. She welcomes me home like no other way. I love to bake with my mom and do math with my dad. Home is a place where I'm no longer sad. Home is not just a place it is love and happiness all in one space. Thank you Habitat for Humanity because everyone deserves a home.
