What Home Means To Me

What does home mean to me? Home isn't a place for me, it's wherever my family is. If I had to describe home is it's like warm cookies or seeing your friends after summer break, it is the feeling of relief and comfort. When you walk into someone's home for the first time, it has a distinct smell; you might think nothing of that smell; but that smell is there because of all the memories. Your home has a smell too, you probably didn't even realize because you made the memories that made that smell. The smell of warmth and hugs, the smell of laughs, and being cheered up after a difficult day. Some people will call it a house, but I call it a home.
