Home Is A Place

Home is a place where you feel loved and comfortable. When you’re at your dad’s house, you might see your dad leaning on the counter waiting for the steak to cook to perfection. The smell of seasoning and steak sauce filling the air. Or maybe when you're at your mom’s house, you sometimes get ramen or go to the mall to walk around. When your mom is too busy as a paramedic, you spend time with her girlfriend, which is super fun. Or maybe your Papa makes your lunch for school filled with delicious healthy foods like cut veggies and fruits. When you’re really lucky you might even get a fruit roll up. And you even go on long walks together through the park to get a frozen lemonade from Tim Horton’s. You might even play card games with your family, or board games like Trouble, Sorry, and Bingo. You feel so happy and loved. This is exactly what home means to me!
