What home means to me

Home means having a place to sleep, relax and be protected. I have food, water and a bed. Sometimes all you need is love but I appreciate that I have a home too. At times, a home can be a place to watch a show, movie or even the Toronto Maple Leafs. I am supported by my lovely parents. A home can be anywhere for a homeless person and that must be hard. Their home might be on a sidewalk or on the side of the road. A home can mean a lot of things including having friends come to your over or going to a friend's house to play. I feel every home feels special to me. It can be a house with a little bit of furniture or a house that's too messy. I love my house more than everything except my friends and family. A house is more than just a structure or a building because it is a place to feel loved, tell jokes, laugh, feel safe and comfortable. This is not really just a contest. This is a way to donate to give people a chance to see what home really means to them. This is what home means to me.
