What Does My Home Mean to Me?

My home makes me feel happy and safe and I never get scared there. Of course there are ups and downs in my house but, I love my home because I have lovely people around me. A home is not just where you sleep, it is a place to spend time with your family. I love my home because I can have friends over. I love when my mom or dad make delicious food and it tastes so good and smells good too. I love when I go to bed and cuddle with my dog. I love him because he plays with me and my brother. My dad and I go for bike rides with my brother. I love my home because I get to play in the pool with my family and friends too. When my mom or dad help me with my homework, I feel calm and appreciative. My favorite place is my home. It's the best place to be if you want to be calm. It doesn’t matter if you have a small home, you just need to have a safe space to be yourself. It’s a good place to be. I just think about how some people don't have homes and I'm very lucky to have a great one. It's such a good place to be rather than being anywhere else because it just makes me feel calmer being in my own house. I love my home. My home is a place to have fun, to talk to my family when I'm hurt or I feel sad. I bet you love your home too.
