Home is not a house

Home is not a house, home is not brick, walls, or cement, home is a place of love, laughter and hope but the most important one of all is that home is a place of memories. Think of a box and in that box there is all the memories, like that one time you were eating cereal and your mom made you laugh so hard you couldn't breathe. Home isn’t just a place of shelter, home is like movie and in that movie there’s a story and in that story there’s you. Home helps you grow, a home is a place where people such as your loved ones will understand you, a place where they listen and that movie about you will stay in your heart forever, and each time you move there is a new movie about you. Home is not a physical place, it is a feeling of safety, comfort and belonging. It is where we are accepted for who we are , where memories are created, and where love and understanding live. Home can be a person , or even a sense of peace within ourselves, but what truly defines home is the warmth and security it provides. It is the place we return to when the world feels overwhelming, offering rest, support and a reminder that we are never truly alone.
