My Special Home

We should all have a special home. My home is a place to gather with family and be thankful. Where we celebrate the holidays with family and watch movies with hot cocoa and warm cookies. My home is a place to gather with family and be thankful. You can have a house but that doesn't mean you have a home. I have had to move more than five times because my family has found many houses but haven’t found that special place called “home”. Those places were not comfortable. Sometimes there weren't even enough bedrooms for me and all my siblings. But now, we have found a house that feels more like a home. My home is cozy. Like my favourite warm blanket. I love waking up in the morning with that sweet smell of pancakes. My home is full of warmth and laughter. Laughing at your dads jokes and a big soft hug wrapping around you. My home has a special corner that I like to go to when I want space or I need to calm down. For me home is the most special place in the world. It's where I can be myself and speak my feelings. My home always has a special place in my heart.
