My Safe Place

Alright, let's get started what is the meaning of home is to me. A home is a safe place where you are happy, feel safe, and the double-g: glad and grateful of everything you have with a roof over your head. You are warm in the winter and not over-heating in the summer. Sometimes I feel upset or sad and I just want a place where I can be alone and feel loved and feel that I have a respected place where I’m not getting looked at weird because I’m crying or upset. I would like to be somewhere I feel I’m allowed to express my feelings alone and not stressed or scared that someone is staring at me or judging me for who I am. Some people feel alone or afraid and they have no one to talk to or to just feel loved but you can go to your neighbors to talk to or a pet who just makes you happy to see. When you have a home, you can go to school to get an education and you can make friends that won’t let you down or be mean and they will stand up for you, then you can get a job and have an amazing life. Don’t forget, you can meet a special someone, a girl or boy, then maybe if you want to, you can have a family and you will never regret what has happened to you. A home can be more than a house. You sometimes need to put yourself in their shoes and don’t forget how lucky you are.
