What Home Means to Me

To me, home is a place where I feel safe, like I have a protection bubble around me. Home is a place I can relax, by playing LEGOs and Minecraft with my friends. In the Summer, I go out in the yard and play with the hose while I water the strawberry plants and flowers. I love the beautiful flowers and I like to smell them because it makes me feel happy. I love my home because it is where my family lives. I love spending time with them and playing with them. Another reason I like my home is because one of my friends lives next door and it is easy to do things together, like biking in the summer and the spring. Another thing I love about home is eating dinner with my family. My mom is really good at cooking and I love her food. When I take a bite of her food, I feel like I am on cloud nine. We like to talk together during dinner about my school and other things. When it is time to go to sleep at home, I go to my comfy bed and read in my room. My cat Coco likes to come and snuggle with me while I read. When it’s time to sleep I take him out of the room so he does not wake me up in the middle of the night, and then I can go to sleep. I am thankful for a warm and nice home to sleep in. In the morning when I open the door Coco comes to greet me and I get to start a new wonderful day from my nice happy place, home.
