The Meaning of Home

Did you know that 85,000 people in Ontario are unhoused. Imagine how they might feel. I am quite sure you all have houses and experience living together as a family. Some of us have a big or small family so I am sure we all know the value. The meaning of home to me is being with family, being comfortable and feeling safe. To begin with, the first definition of home to me is being with family. Family is like the anchor that holds you steady in a storm making sure you don't drift away. It means that your Family always protects you and makes sure you are okay so you won't fall into the wrong hands/ways. So that is why you should always trust your family before it's too late because I've seen people and in movies that don't trust their family and the ending is horrible. To conclude, the first definition of home to me is being with family. Equally important, the second meaning of home to me is being comfortable. Comfortableness is like a warm blanket on a cold night. The meaning is that whenever you feel bothered your home always comforts, whether it's the people inside or the things. For me it's the people(my family) and things(my room,tech….) that makes me feel comfortable in my home. Being comfortable is pretty important because if you don't feel any comfort that can affect your mental health and can take away your happiness. In summary, the meaning of home to me is being comfortable. Lastly, the explanation of home to me is feeling safe. A home is like a pair of arms which hug you making you feel loved and protected. This means that your home should make you feel safe. Kinda like the feeling of someone you love hugging you in a happy moment. I am sure you have all experienced it and I am also sure that it feels wonderful .You should be able to express your feelings in your home. Overall, the explanation of home to me is feeling safe. Home to me is being with family, being comfortable and feeling safe. Your family will always be there to protect you. Comfort is the people or things inside your home. In your home you should feel like yourself and if you don't that probably isn't the best for you(in my opinion). In conclusion, that is why the meaning of home to me is being with family, being comfortable and feeling safe.
