What Is Home To Me

My home is not brick, or cement. My home is a place full of content. I do not only have one home, I have more. I have a school full of my friends, the people who lift me up when things are hard. Home is not a wall with bricks, cement, or steel. But home is not a home without the people you love either. My home is not perfect. Not to everyone. It seems I'm always stuck in my room. How could that possibly be a loving home? In my room is my cozy blanket, the invisible hands that wrap around me. My plushies are my friends, I do not think that is childish. No one's home is perfect, It’s only perfect to themself. How would you build a lego set perfectly the first time? A home can not be made without mistakes and that's okay. What home means to me is a place where you can feel safe, loved and happy. Your home or my home are not decorations, so there's no need for it to be perfect. That is what home is to me. A place built with the little things and mistakes.
