My Home is not just a Building

Picture this, in my living room we play board games like Sorry, Snakes and Ladders and Connect Four. We also watch movies like Home Alone, The Grinch, Jaws and plenty more. We laugh at jokes and look at pictures to remember memories from when we were babies. That is all that’s happened in my living room. In the kitchen, it always smells like fresh food that is being cooked. At Christmas, this is where we cook cookies for Santa and get carrots out of the fridge for his reindeer. We also cook the turkey on Thanksgiving. When we eat there is an island that we would eat on. For birthdays this is where we would bake the cake, light the candles, and eat it. That is all that’s happened in the kitchen. In my bedroom my bed always feels like it is giving me a big cozy hug when it is time for bed. In my room, I can release all of my anger and stress. In my room, I can watch videos and play games with friends. In my room, I can have lots of sleepovers with friends and cousins. That is why my home is not just a building
