What Home Means To ME

The meaning of home to me is a shelter to live in. Damion and Bates greet me with a ‘meow’ when I get home. They want food, but I give the pets to feel peaceful. Whether it's food to eat, or water to drink, I have a space to move and play in. Home is where the fun is. Birthday parties happen three times a year. I play on an iPad and watch whatever my sister is tuning into on the television. In the summer, I like to do backflips on the trampoline that my mom bought me. More than a word, home is a place that keeps you safe. It’s a place that's nice for anyone and everyone. It's a good feeling; to be with everyone you love. I like how sometimes it’s calm. You don’t have to question it, and can trust your gut. I have two loving parents, two loving grandparents, an older brother, sister and pets that love me. Family, that's what a home means to me.
