What Home Feels Like To Me

To me, home feels peaceful, free and fun because I can run around. Playing basketball with my brother becomes a competition; a five year gap means he wins all the time. When I'm at home I can go anywhere and do anything, but I choose to spend time with my family. Card games like Uno, and chess, end with celebration for the winner and eating lots of yummy food. My room is quiet and calm. My parents don’t visit me. Downstairs, my parents and sister are waiting for me. We can go outside and play together. I can play badminton with my brother and mom, ride my bike with my sister, and go shopping with my dad. Home is a safe place to stay. Home is a place to not get cold or wet. At home you can feel safe and together.
