The Meaning of Home

My favorite place in my home is the living room because it is where my family laughs at the TV when cartoons play and eat the delicious food my mom makes every day. My second favorite place in my home is my room because that's where I have my play dates with my friends and where I have my well-needed shuteye. Also, it's where I escape the crucial world. My third favorite place in my home is my mom's kitchen because that's where I get my second source of energy. It's the place beside the garage door, so when I come home I smell the nice scent of homemade food, and it is where I get the most amazing and delicious food from my mom! My fourth favorite place in my home is my dad's office, because when I struggle with something in school I go to my dad's office and learn about it there. It's also where my dad does his work to make the money we need to survive in the world. My fifth favorite room is my mom's and dad's room because it's where me and my family had our first ever game night. Also, I like it because I used to play and learn my drums. They still sit in the corner under the TV in their room. P.S. The meaning of Home to me. Home is where people escape reality. Home is a place where you feel warm and comfy. It is a place where you lose all your worries, not where you are still scared of what will happen next.
