What Does Home Mean To You?

“What does home mean to you?” This is a very simple question, and it has some simple answers such as “home is the place where I grew up”, “home is where I live” or things very similar to this. However, things are a little different for me, I would answer by saying “home isn't just a place or word it’s me-myself.” Home is where I find myself and enjoy myself. After almost 7 hours of school the place I actually find myself is my home. Home is the place where I grew up, I’m still growing up and I will grow up later in my life. Home is where I took my first steps, I ate my first traditional food, I spoke my first words, I learned the alphabets. And home will be the place where I will take my last steps. In fact, home is the place where I built the person who I’m right now. When you change houses the feeling of nostalgia hits not just because it’s the place where you grew up, but because it holds so many memories of you. Lastly I want to say “home is not merely a word for me, it represents almost everything I value and love.”
