What Is Home?

What Is Home? Home isn't just about the building but the people inside like my mom, my dad and my little sister. Home is a safe place full of memories and growth and when I'm older I hope to grow up with them. Home is when you come down stairs and smell your mom making dinner you won’t always like it but it's the thought that counts and it's not about what it tastes like but the memories you make at the dinner table. At home I feel appreciated,loved and accepted. Home is not always about family but also about friends like when my best friends and I stay up playing video games until we fall asleep and my friends also make school not about the learning but about the adventures along the way. I love my friends like my family. They are my home. So next time you're wondering, ask yourself what is home to me?
