Home Is Love
Home is not just a structure built with bricks and cement. It's a warm hug built on memories. Whenever I feel down, home is there for me. In every room, there is love.
My family and I built our home, not some construction worker who got paid. We built our home on everlasting love that will never be broken.
Home is a place where I can rest. Where I sleep peacefully and eat happily. In the living room, we play board games and make forts. We watch movies on Friday nights. Sometimes I make mistakes, but then I say sorry, and I'm forgiven. Forgiveness is love, and my home has a lot of it.
Every room in my home holds a memory; the kitchen holds the memory of freshly baked muffins and birthday cake. Every single breakfast, dinner, and packed lunch came from the kitchen; they are all made with love. Sure, my home isn't perfect; there are messes here and there, with toys on the floor from my younger siblings, but every mess makes our home feel like home.
My room is by far the best in my eyes; my sister and I split it in half. So she has her half, and I have mine. I make the best of what I have to decorate! Like pictures that I painted downstairs at the art table! All of them are special in their own way.
I have lived in three houses in my life. Each one of them holds a part of me. And all of them have been with me through the hard times, and I am forever thankful for a place that keeps me safe.
Home is love.
