What Home Means to Me

Home is a place to play and share, Where people love and spread care. Whether it’s big or small, home is mine. Home is a place where I can shine. We share stories at dinner, and play during the day. My home protects me from what bad people say. My home is comfortable, it keeps me safe from the weather. When I feel sick, I stay home And that makes me feel better. In my bedroom, I have things that matter to me, With treasures from school and the beach. My home doesn’t judge me, I can do what I please, I can complete all my work with happiness and ease. Home is a place where I belong, whether I’m sad or scared, I’m taught to be strong. Habitat for Humanity makes all these feelings come true, and every day, I’ll try my best to help too!
