Home Is More Than A Thing

Home is more than a thing, more than a place, even terrible looking places can be a home. Now about three years ago I moved to Ontario. You may think I lost my home but no, it was always with me and it always will be. To me, home feels welcoming, loving and sometimes calm. It gets balanced by it being chaotic but it is fun, too. Now that’s how it feels, but it sounds much different. My home is loud, quiet, and sometimes there’s music on, but it most of all it sounds like a home. My third thing is that home is loving, comforting and calm. When I go home I notice a home is more than a thing. That is how home feels, sounds, and what it really is. What does home mean to you?
