The Meaning Of Home

Home is a place of memories. In my home, I feel safe and cozy like a warm, comforting cup of tea on a freezing cold day. Home is not cold and dangerous or scary, and it is not crowded with people. On weekends, in the morning, I smell a lingering whiff of breakfast on the stove. Love and laughter fill the air. They come with me everywhere. In a home, you fit in, and nobody judges you. In a home, you're free to be whoever you want to be. Warm eyes surround you. You can tell people care, or they wouldn’t be there with you. That's when you can feel loved. Your world may be different from everyone else's, but that is okay. You can be who you want to be in a home where you are known and seen.
