Meaning Of Home

The meaning of Home to me is a place where I feel loved and appreciated. A house is a wood frame, but a home is a place for you and me. A house is heated by a heater, but a home is heated by love, and that is what I think. When I'm home. I feel loved. At my house, I can smell fresh KD, chocolate-covered peanut butter balls, and my mom’s French toast. I smell my dad working at the fireplace, putting in the work to keep the fire going. I see my family gathering around the table and sharing the food my mom and dad prepared for us. I feel happy at my house because I have people with me, and I know they love me and appreciate me, and that's what I think a home should be. I hear my mom’s music blasting in the kitchen when she is making food for us. I can also hear all the things that happened and share about what I did. They do listen to me, which makes me happy. And that is what home is to me.
