What home really means to me.

Home is more than a structure. It is a place where I make memories, live and laugh. There are many different kinds of homes. For example, a home can be an apartment or another structure like a house. A home is where we rest, relax and recharge for our lives. Home is where we have our family pets and belongings. Home is my safe place. When I'm at home, I feel supported, loved and cared for by my parents. I am grateful that I have a home and I have a place to stay. No matter the size or look of a home it still means something to someone. Home is a place where I feel safe, understood and the people in it makes it special. When there's a storm outside my home, it protects us and makes me feel safe and secure. Home makes me feel better when I'm sad. Home is where I feel safe to be myself. Home is where I have privacy and the world doesn't know everything. I feel safe because I have a lock on my door. Home is where when the world is tough on me, I can go home and feel safe. When I come home in the summer, it feels cool and fresh because it is hot outside. In the winter, my home keeps me warm and cozy from snow because I have a roof over my head. What does home mean to you? This is what home means to me and why I love it.
