My Meaning of Home

Home is a place where everyone is welcome, it feels like a big warm hug around me. It is where me and my family sit around the table and we share about our day with the smell of my mom’s stir fry. Where I hear the sound of my dogs when they get excited to see people. Home is where me and my family have family movie night every Friday. It is where my grandparents come over and we play board games all the time. Home is where everyone can be themselves and feel safe , and everyone has a cozy bed to sleep in every night , where me and my family have so many memories like getting our dogs for the first time , and when my family comes for holidays. Home for me isn't just one place , it is also in BC where I have so many memories with my friends and family ,and when my cousins and grandparents came to see us. Home is where me and my dad practice golf together, where me and my brother play games together , where me and my brother play with our dogs. Home is laughing because something funny happened. Home matters because it isn't just a thing, it is a place full of memories, love , and laughter, where I can have fun and feel safe.
