Home is where new memories are made, and old ones are kept. Home is where you feel safe, where you don't feel uncomfortable there. You don’t need to pretend anything. You step outside to breathe in the fresh air for the day. Outside, the wind moans quietly while birds fly in and out of your view. The delicious smell of homemade food drifts from the kitchen. As the smell reaches you, your stomach growls, and you suddenly feel even hungrier. You head back into the kitchen and dig into your food. As the gloomy, dark sky takes over, you snuggle into your soft, fluffy blanket, and the house begins to quiet down. As you drift into a deep sleep, the clock ticks and ticks. You hear the birds fall silent as the whole house and neighborhood drift off into a deep sleep.
