Home Isn't Just a Place

Home isn't just a place, it's where you spend time with your family. It's where you take your first steps, say your first words and if you haven't lived in a place all your life you can make other memories like celebrating your birthday party and having playdates. Home is also a place where you also feel comfortable, like when you snuggle with all your stuffed animals, or when you're just simply watching TV with your family. When you're feeling sad you can tell anyone you trust about your feelings and they can help you overcome those feelings. When it's a rainy day your trap yourself from going outside but think of this in another way while the weather does its job you can stay inside, cuddle together while sipping hot cocoa and playing board games. Home is where you can do the things you love like painting, drawing, reading, and even studying. It's where you can just sit on your bed with a cozy blanket and read without anyone bothering you. Think of home as your own planet, and it’s full of things like love, laughter, togetherness and kindness. So home isn't just a place, it's where I create memories and have fun together with my family.
