The Meaning of Home

Home for you compared to me is way different! For me home is a place where I can be with my loved ones, play video games, eat fresh food, drink fresh water and do my homework. Home is where I can be myself and not just purely strive for perfection. I can say goodnight to my parents and just curl into my blanket and have a really good nap compared to anywhere else where I don't have a bed reserved for me. Home is a place for me where I feel comfortable. In the summer, I decided to venture out with my parents to hunt for the best deals. Some might think that doesn't sound like an exciting summer, but I felt a lot of joy knowing they bought me some amazing things. Like cookie dough, so I could bake cookies with my sister, and she was excited too. We managed to get some more snacks for home, my absolute favorite ice cream. It was a really nice day, and we loved the chance to enjoy our summer at home. As soon as I returned, my friend had invited me over. We had a blast at his house, and I was filled with happiness, imagining all the fun I could have. Then after I went back and I wondered what I should do at home? There was so much to do. I chose to dive into my computer and play with my friends Fateh, Romy, and a few others. We decided to play some games on Roblox, and I was having a blast! Some days may be hard but the glow of the chandelier in the night just lets me get past that and now I can curl up in my blanket and go to bed. That's home for me.
