Home Is Love

Home isn't just a building. Home is a place where you can be free from all your problems. Home is the place where you can play with anyone. When I get home from school, I smell mom cooking fresh biscuits out of the oven. When I get home, I see my dog rex wagging his tail running up to me for a big hug. When I get home, I taste delicious suppers at the dinner table, whether corn or mashed potatoes and ribs. When I get home, I feel like I can do anything I feel safe, loved and free. When I get home, I hear dad getting through the door, thunking his boots on the carpet, 'thunk thunk' while yelling ”welcome home kids!!!!”. My favorite part about my home is making art with my mom. Me and her do a lot of water color paints. My favorite part about home is going on a family skate with my mom and dad, sister and brother. My favorite part about home is when me, my sister Nora and my brother Henry play in the basement. We all get our ministicks and play ball hockey together. Nora likes being ref for the first round. My favorite part about home is all the fun me and Rex have. Usually he just tries to catch squirrels but that doesn't stop me from barking with him. My favorite part about home is when my family comes around the dinner table and do a family puzzle. Me, Nora and Henry goof around while doing it. Those are the many reasons that make up my home!
