HOME ISN'T JUST A PLACE

When I go home after school and hanging out with my friends, it makes me happy and cozy. When I go to sleep I think of what journey my family and I are going on next, like hiking or swimming. The best thing that makes me cozy is watching a Leafs game on the couch with my family wrapped up in a big blanket with a fireplace going. I feel safe in my mom’s room because my mom, dad and dog are in there most of the time watching movies. When we go swimming in the pool down stairs my mom likes to watch us swim while me and dad have fun. It's an apartment so we can't bring my dog down since it’s a public pool. My room isn't that cozy but it still works because it’s mine. When I go to sleep my dog comes into my room and sleeps with me. When it rains, my family and I go out to my balcony and watch the rain and lightning. That's why I love home.
