Home : The place where you can be you

Home feels like a blanket. I feel warm, cozy, and safe. I can lay down and relax, be myself, share laughs, and good times with my family. It makes me feel safe and sound when surrounded by my family. Home smells like fresh baked chocolate chip cookies from my mom’s oven. soft and fresh. My mom calls my family to the kitchen table. We all sit down to eat the fresh hot cookies and they are always delicious! Home is where if I feel sad or emotional my family will be there with open arms, ready and there to make me feel better and happy again. My family is like my own personal cheerleading squad, or hype team. Always there ready to cheer me on. Home is a place where I can make memories that last a lifetime. That I will remember forever and forever. Like when we got our puppy for the first time or when my sister got accepted to her dream law school! Home is a place where you can show off your true self. Who you really are and not be afraid of it. You can be as silly and goofy as you want. These are things that make me feel like home.
